Friendly Fridays: Celebrations & Commiserations

Friendly Fridays are dedicated to you, my friends and followers.

I want to know what's going on in your lives.

My apologies for not posting last week. I was still floating after receiving my amazing Christmas present. (See previous post.)
.

Celebrations

What celebrations can I join in this week? If you've received good news, achieved a goal or made progress, I'd love to hear about it.

I visited blogs and read some great posts, but since things are quiet in the blogosphere during the holiday, I didn't find any nuggets to share with you. However, I feel certain good things took place as you spent time with family and friends. I'd love to hear about a special moment that touched your heart.

Commiserations

Did you experience doubts or discouragement, heartaches or hurts, sadness or setbacks this week? If so, I want to come alongside you with sympathy and cyber hugs.

The holidays can be a tough time for those who've experienced loss or are going through a trial. If you had a less than Merry Christmas and feel comfortable sharing about it, I'd like to offer you an ear and a cyber shoulder.

When I read your comments, my jaw dropped. I didn't realized your story finaled in SEVEN contests!! That is truly amazing and such a testament to God's blessings. :) I'm SO happy for you and that we both get to walk the journey with the same wonderful agent. :)

Katie, my Christmas was one of the most memorable I've ever experienced. New Years was always special to me, but in 1991 it became even more so. On New Years Day 19 years ago, I give birth to our one and only. Ever since then, January 1st has been one of my favorite days of the year. Since the Fashion Queen has been home from college, Gwynly and I got to celebrate with her. Tomorrow we take her back. Sigh.

I hope 2010 is an amazing year for you, Katie. I fully expect to be celebrating your First Sale with you. I'll whoop and holler when I hear the news.
